http://www.enterprisectr.org/sscac.html The Salem State College Assistance Corporation was established in 1996 to create a non-profit organization in order to purchase GTE Sylvania property located on Loring Avenue in Salem, Massachusetts. The property was to provide additional parking for the College, as well as new facilities for the School of Business and the Center for Performing Arts at Salem State College. The purposes of the corporation shall be to (i) promote the orderly growth and development of the university; (ii) to assist the university in securing physical and financial resources necessary for the acquisition and development of the site; and (iii) to manage and operate the enterprise center.
