The Authority has a broad mandate to provide facilities for the use by the University and by other entities affiliated or approved by the Trustees of the University. Specifically, the statutory purpose of the Authority is to aid and contribute to the performance of the educational and other purposes of the University by providing dormitories, dining commons and other buildings and structures: For the use of the University, its students, staff and their dependents; For lease to or use by an organization or association of students or others which are part of the activities of the University and are subject to regulation by the Trustees; For a research foundation or other research organization, the operation of which in conjunction with the University is approved by the University Trustees; For any other entity the activities of which are approved by the University Trustees as furthering the purposes of the University.Seat Restrictions
